English class

It was 1999 and I was an orphan in Arizona State. I had just become 16 and I had heard that my parents were alive in New Jersey. Two years later I became 18 years old and decided to take a road trip to find my real parents. One night I left the foster home and drove my mustang to New Jersey with only 200 dollars in my wallet. That morning my foster parents found my letter and couldn’t believe why I had left home but I did. I was on the road passing city to city, weather to weather.
I was in Missouri, looking at all the “unique things that this country has to give” and I was enjoying my little adventure. Many times I would leave my car and sleep out in tress or in the wild, because of the view of the stars you could see in the sky. When I got to Pennsylvania everything changed for the worst. I went to the deli and when I went out to the parking lot my car was missing. I told the cops about my stolen car; I spent many nights in the police station because most of my journey I had slept in my car.
Two full weeks no news, until they found the thief and my car in a old abandoned house over a hill. He was a wanted thief, and accused of murder, raping, stealing, and a lunatic. At least I got my car back and I was not that guy.
I finally reached New Jersey in the spring. I drove all the way from Arizona and I only had 13 dollars and a button in my pocket. I drove all the way to Fairview where I heard my mother was living there with three other family members. When I reached 4509 Flour Street, I was minutes away to meeting my real parent. When I rang the door bell a young lady came to the door and thought I was looking at a mirror, and then she hugged me and said “your my son.” When I went in I found my parents and my foster parents inside. They told me the whole story; they wanted to tell me everything. A few days later I got closer to my mother, and in a few years I started living with her. My life became perfect again. My foster parent moved to Jersey. I lived with my mother and got accepted to Medical School. I was happy at last.
